Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Hotel Xcaret Arte. We want our celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with all of you. We'd love to hang out with you at the pool, over a few meals and drinks together or on an excursion. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) with most of the rooms set aside from November 28 to December 1, 2024, but you can arrive as early as November 25 and stay as long as December 2 -- our travel coordinator MarieSam just has to request the extra days. Because we have set up a great discount for stays at this resort, we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam only.

When should we arrive?
We would love to have you join us from November 28 to December 1 as we plan to have a special dinner celebration on November 30th. But since you've traveled all this way, you might as well make a vacation out of it too and can join us any time between November 25 to December 2, 2024.  

What should we wear for your celebration dinner?
Please wear semi-formal attire for our Saturday night dinner celebration. We are looking forward to celebrating with you!

Are kids invited?
Our resort is strictly for those ages 16 and up -- so it is an adults-only property.  

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Hotel Xcaret Arte is provided by the resort's complimentary shuttle bus. All transportation necessary for tours and excursions is also included and provided by the hotel. If you would like any private transfers or excursions, please ask our travel coordinator MarieSam for information and assistance on that request. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Playa del Carmen, Mexico is typically warm and humid -- temperatures are usually in the 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with cocktail attire for our special dinner celebration. 

How can travel be made easier around the resort?
For those who may need assistance moving about our wedding resort, Playa Mobility offers mobility scooters and power chairs to help ease your travels. Any equipment rented will be delivered directly to the resort and picked up from the resort upon your departure back home.
